to the ORPG Build 1.2.
- Two New Products - Digital Base Reflectivity and Digital
Base Velocity (AWIPS Build 5.2.1 is required to display these products)

- data levels: 256 (-30 dBZ to +90 dBZ)
- readout to the nearest 0.5 dBZ
- to display: AWIPS Build 5.2.1 (RPS/OTR)

- Time Synchronization
- NWS ORPG will automatically time sync with AWIPS's clock
- TCP/IP connection between ORPG LAN and AWIPS LAN
- High speed dedicated connection - Once AWIPS Build 5.2.1 is
available, this will support:
- RPS lists of up to 90 products
- transmission of high resolution Digital Base Reflectivity
and Velocity products

- Once AWIPS Build 5.2.1 is available, line #25 will connect to
each office's co-located RPG.
- Each office's other dedicated RPG connections will continue
to use the X.25 protocol.
- TCP/IP ORPG LAN to AWIPS LAN connection will eventually support
real-time transfer of Archive II data to NCDC.
