Master System Control Function (MSCF) - The RDA HCI

Any non-maintenance change in the operational state at the Radar Data Acquisition Unit (RDA) must be initiated at the RDA Human Control Interface (HCI). Examples of these operational state changes include:
- Power transfers,
- Generating Bypass Maps for clutter suppression, and
- Coordinating with Electronics Technicians (ETs) for off-line maintenance.
The RDA HCI provides the ET with extensive maintenance analysis tools to determine the overall health of the system. There are a number of diagnostic tools available to determine which maintenance tasks may be needed and if a trip to the RDA itself is necessary.
