Equation 8: Maximum Unambiguous Range in terms of Pulse Repetition Time

R_max = maximum unambiguous range

c = speed of light (~3 x 10⁸ ms^-1)

PRT = pulse repetition time (s) = 1/PRF

Equation 8 is an alternate form of Equation 6. This is yet another way to compute the maximum unambiguous range, R_max. R_max can be determined by multiplying the speed of light times the pulse repetition time (PRT) and dividing by 2.
