This problem occurs only in WES 8.2. Please install WES 8.2 patch #2 to fix this issue.
- My text workstation fails to launch[top]
This is typically caused by a missing .environs.$host file. To fix this, copy in the .environs.localhost by issuing the following commands:
- "hostname | cut -d . -f 1"
- "cd /awips/fxa"
- "cp .environs.localhost .environs.$host" where $host is the result from step 1.
These commands should be done as user fxa, and note the dot preceding the filenames in the above steps.
